Good afternoon!
I hope you all enjoyed your break! I have certainly reached the
point where I am ready to see all those precious faces in the morning!
Just some quick thoughts on testing…
If you signed up for a snack for the Milestone, I would like to
request that the snacks be individually wrapped for each student. Also, if you
are sending in an item with multiple flavors, please limit the flavors/choices
to one or two options. After a long morning of testing and choosing A, B, C, or
D, their brains just cannot choose anything else! So, limited options and
quick, easy bags to hand out will be fantastic!
I appreciate all of your support for our kiddos during this time.
Please make sure they get a good night’s sleep each night, eat a healthy
breakfast each morning, and arrive at school on time.
I know testing can be a very nerve-wracking time for the kids, but
please help to calm their nerves by encouraging them and reminding them that
they have learned everything they need to know to be successful on this test.
They have worked so incredibly hard this year and made many gains. As their
teacher, I am so confident in their abilities. Like I tell the kids all the
time, they are smarter than the test (& the people who score the tests- I
have to boost their confidence!).
I look forward to seeing all of their beautiful, smiling (&
I’m sure tired) faces in the morning. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
