Reading: Read for 30 minutes. Using the RACE
strategy, identify TWO character traits that could be used to describe a
character in your book. Use text evidence to support your reasons for choosing
those character traits.
Ex: The character (character name) in
the story, (Book Title), is (character trait #1) because
(Cite direct evidence from the
story that supports why you think the character is the trait you identified
based on what the character thinks, says, or does). The
character (character name) is also (character trait #2) because (Cite direct evidence from the story).
You may use your reading journal to reference the
Character Traits page that was glued in at the beginning of the year to help you.
