Good afternoon families!
We have been working really hard in
reading and writing! I am proud of the effort they are putting in.
Reminders:
- Lollipops are on back order and will not be sold next week.
- Next Wednesday, August 30th is an early release day. The students will be dismissed 2 hours early.
- There will be a spelling and vocabulary quiz on Friday, September 1st.
- On Friday, September 1st students may wear their favorite college/professional football team shirt to kick off football season!
- Information on the Fall Festival went home yesterday in the Thursday folders. If you wish to attend, please complete and return the form by September 7th.
- Please sign and return the stapled packet of graded paper in your child’s Thursday folder along with any corrections your child may have made. All other loose papers should be left at home.
Please remind your child that they
need to be responsible for their work, journals, books, etc. Many students are
leaving these items at home. As a result, they are losing Dojo’s for being
unprepared. I realize that 4th grade is a big transition year, but
it is important that your child comes prepared to school. It is their
responsibility to pack their backpacks at night or in the morning. Your support
with encouraging responsibility is greatly appreciated!
