Next week in…
- Reading: We will be discussing the theme of a book. This is a one word/ big idea/ lesson that we can learn from a story. I would encourage you to ask your child about the theme of the independent books they are reading at school or at home and have them give you three examples of this from the story.
- Writing: We will continue working on our narrative drafts.
- Word Work: We will be discussing adjectives and there will be an assessment on Friday. Students will be receiving their new Lesson 3 vocabulary words on Monday as well.
Reminders:
- Please sign and return all progress reports no later than Tuesday.
- Please sign and return all Performing Arts permission forms by Tuesday.
- Please remind your child to be responsible for their supplies and to bring all journals, their agenda, and homework to class each day.
